Sartorial Master Room / Design and construction / Province of Milan
Andrea and Denise’s room is tailor-made, sewn on the skin of their needs. Our project intervened with a new purchased existing house. This room previously had glass bricks on the walls and the space was arranged as a study.
Denise and Andrea immediately loved the light and the view of this room and decided that this would be their master bedroom. They wanted a lot of wardrobe space for clothing in large quantities.
The project for the wardrobe is therefore divided into two areas, one for him and one for her, where each have their own space. The walk-in closet is made up of two C-shapes that make use of every inch of space. As soon as you enter the room, the make-up area captures the scene, rich and bright with a large horizontal backlit mirror. The adjustable front lights allow Denise to adjust the light to her liking. Finally, a plasterboard structure behind the bed hides the old glass block and gives a new aspect to the room, in line with the simple and minimal lines of the iron bed and bedside tables.
A modern double bedroom, with minimal intervention.
